Home A Past Gone Mad Reverend Jim Listen To This Rad's Renderings Peter's Pit FatFakir Gear Who is the FatFakir?

Is it "The Rale Ale Trail" Dale?

For your delectation and delight, here's a few photos of yours truly (and a few work colleagues) enjoying a day out on the beers and on the train, travelling from Warrington to Dewsbury and back, with stops at Stalybridge, Huddersfield and Marsden for the partaking of ale. A good time was had by all, I seem to remember, but I could be wrong because I'm afraid I was very, very, drunk.

The motley crew assembled at Stalybridge station. First stop on a rail journey to drunkdom.

Phil, Me, Danielle, Steph and Steve doing a plausible impression of sensible people.

The pipe makes it's first appearance of the day. In Huddersfield, I think.

Pipe smoked, now time to finish off that beer. Note special limp-wristed drinking action.

Caught off-guard by roving camera, John, Dave and I stop talking about work.

Carolyn, responsible for all the other pictures, gets caught in the vice-like grip of a drunken Jim.

The pipe comes out again as a bunch of software geeks demonstrate surprising ability to handle ale. Left to right - John, Steve, Dave and Me.

Only two more stations to go. Thank god.
